This ring is made of yellow gold and vermeil and is decorated with vegetal and floral motifs engraved and embossed with great technical expertise; this decoration reflects the romantic taste widespread in jewelery in the second half of the nineteenth century. In the center stands a large pink crystal, a color much loved in sentimental jewels, where stones such as spinels are very often found.
